This game was made during the Finnish Game Week Game Jam!
Theme: "Retro"

This game took inspiration from Spelunky, Sonic and other classic platformers, but throwing in some modern physics elements as well. It has this retro mood that is difficult to describe, and the difficulty is a throwback to the era of brutal games. The controls are simple and responsive, but the level and enemy dynamics force you to keep moving, and a single hit takes you out.
Don't get discouraged, try again and you can do it! Once you get the hang of it and beat a run successfully, you can send your score to the server and have it as a memento of your triumph! I would personally like to see a real battle for the top rankings.
Goals
- Collect all 25 gems in the level
- (This is mandatory, you cannot beat the level otherwise)
- Reach the ending without falling off, hitting the spikes or getting shot with a fireball
- (This turned out to be pretty difficult)
- Get as fast a time as possible and compete in the global leaderboards
- (I challenge you to beat my personal best)
Controls
- Mouse click for buttons
- A + D: movement
- Spacebar: jump (tap twice to double-jump)
- R: restart
- ESC: return to main menu
